WHY DOES THE BODY ACHE IN WINTER?

In winter, most people feel pain in the body after waking up in the morning, but there is no specific reason for it, but now experts have told not only the cause but also how to avoid pain. As soon as winter begins, when extremely cold winds start blowing, due to the change in temperature, a person feels lethargic in his body. During this change of weather, people who suffer from arthritis may also face pain in their joints, which is often due to not working. Dr. Kadam Nagpal, a neurologist from Delhi, says that when the cold increases, we do not exercise, even bring our body less in motion than our normal life, so during winter, the body faces pain. "Many people may experience colds, headaches, and back and neck spasms while riding a bike in winter," he said. "If you're at risk of body aches when you get a cold, make sure you've covered your body properly and if you're travelling on a bike, cover yourself with thick sweaters or jackets and also use a muffler," he added. Experts say that you should normalize some kind of exercise or any activity in the winter so that there is some flexibility in the affected parts of the body. According to experts, due to being small on winter days, sunlight is less, due to which the human body is deprived of vitamin D, the most important component for bones. "Vitamin D is an essential nutrient for strong bones, teeth and joints, and in winter, low doses of vitamin D also increase the chances of bone pain, bone fractures, muscle cramps and muscle weakness because in this situation the body is not able to properly absorb calcium and phosphorus," he said. He added, "It is best to run a heater in the rooms of people suffering from arthritis in winter, in addition to exercising daily and using a diet rich in Amiga 3 can also help reduce body and joint pain."
